M3 Cup Scrutineering and conformity checks.

As we are a very competitive championship we take our regulations very seriously. At the start of our technical regulations we state:
If the following texts do not clearly specify what modifications or upgrades can be made to the car, then you must work on the principle that it will not be permitted.
This makes build a car very easy and it also makes it easy to check for anomalies in any cars.

We have performed the following checks so far this year:

ROUND 1 & 2 OULTON PARK
WEIGH CARS
All cars that were weighed were over the minimum weight.

FUEL TEST
Only 1 car was tested. This passed the checks.

ROUND 3 & 4 SNETTERTON 300
WEIGH CARS
All cars that were weighed were over the minimum weight.

DYNO (BHP AND GEAR RATIOS)
The top 3 cars from both round 3 and 4 were put on the dyno. They were below the maximum power figure and all complied with the correct gear ratios.

ROUND 5 & 6 BRANDS HATCH INDY
WEIGH CARS
1 car was disqualified from qualifying for being 10kg under minimum weight.

COMPRESSION TEST
The top 3 cars from round 5 were tested after the race and they all passed the checks.

ECU
The top 3 cars from round 6 were tested after the race for any ecu modification/tampering and they all passed the checks.

ROUND 7 & 8 CADWELL PARK
UNDERCAR CHECKS
All cars were checked for catalytic convertors, lower arms and bushes.

SUSPENSION CHECK
The top 2 cars from round 8 had their dampers removed and were sent off to the manufacture for compliance testing. Both came back un-tampered and fully compliant with the rules.

ROUND 9 & 10 SILVERSTONE
WEIGH CARS
All cars were within the weight.

ROUND 11 & 12 ROCKINGHAM
REAR DIFF
The top 3 cars from round 11 had their rear differentials sealed. Results will follow once they get stripped.

WEIGH CARS
1 car was disqualified from round 12 for being 10kg under minimum weight.

ROUND 13 & 14 DONINGTON PARK
